Royal commentator Jennie Bond looked at how both women use their power to promote their own causes in “very different” ways.
She said Bella magazine: “Catherine and Meghan are indeed two very different women and are now following very different paths.
“Everything Catherine does is helping others, the disadvantaged, the young and now those suffering from cancer.
“It’s not about money or fame or self-aggrandizement. It’s about helping people who are struggling and doing good.”
She added: “I believe Meghan is also using her star power to bring attention to certain causes and people who need help.
“The campaign she and Harry have launched to limit the dangers of the digital world for our children is admirable. But she is also very active in the commercial world.
“There’s nothing wrong with that – Harry and Meghan were very transparent when they left the royal family and said they wanted the freedom to make a living in the commercial world, so we shouldn’t Don’t be surprised when we see her building her brand.”
The Duchess prepares for her mark, Launch of American Riviera Orchard, at some point this year.
She is also expected to release a cooking show with the streaming giant Netflix.
