Borussia Dortmund narrowly missed its second Champions League victory since 1997. The strong Bundesliga team lost 0:2 (0:0) on Saturday evening at Wembley Stadium in London against Real Madrid. Defender Daniel Carvajal gave Los Blancos the lead in the 74th minute after a corner kick from Toni Kroos. Vinícius Júnior (83′) followed a little later. Thanks to the triumph in front of 86,212 spectators, the record winner from Spain now has nine titles in the premier class.
