Baby reindeer: Scottish woman sues Netflix for alleged defamation

A woman from Scotland owns the streaming provider Netflix due to the supposed resemblance to a stalker from the hit series Baby reindeer sued to pay at least $170 million. In a lawsuit filed in federal court in Los Angeles, the plaintiff alleges that Netflix and series creator Richard Gadd suggested she was sentenced to five years in prison for stalking and harassment. She was not a stalker nor was she in custody.
