Another car sharing provider, ‘Miles’, is launching in Frankfurt. The Berliners are starting with a fleet of 200 vehicles, which can be parked in any legal parking space in a limited area of Frankfurt’s city area according to the free flow system. According to the provider, there are 10 electric vehicles.
The company wants to quickly expand its space and fleet in Frankfurt. A prerequisite for this is the city’s announced regulation of a monthly parking fee, the amount of which would be linked to the size of the service area. Until then, the company pays the parking fees for its cars via a parking app.
From 1 August, ten Miles parking spaces will also be available at Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport. In addition to the kilometre or time allowance, a storage fee of 6 euros will be charged.
