The Kansas City Chiefs will be gloating all offseason as they managed to overcome the odds and become the first NFL team in decades to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

The Chiefs may not have had the same electric offense they’ve had in the recent past, but they managed to get the job done and will look to try and accomplish a “three-peat” once the 2024 NFL season kicks off.

In the meantime, the players have been enjoying the downtime and making the rounds at other sporting events.

One of the biggest wrestling events is going on this weekend as WrestleMania XL kicked off on Saturday.

WrestleMania XL is taking place in Philadelphia and fans were treated to a few surprises including seeing Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson interfere in a match.

In addition, Chiefs starting right guard Trey Smith was featured as a guest alongside a young fan, via WWE.

It’s all about brotherly love and the city of Philadelphia coming together as @treysmith & Joey Borgonzi share a special moment on the Countdown to #WrestleMania XL alongside Tom Rinaldi,” WWE tweeted.

Joey Borgonzi and Smith share a special bond as the offensive lineman calmed him down when a tragic shooting took place at the Kansas City championship parade.

Smith’s heroic actions led them to WrestleMania XL, where they both expressed how much it meant to them to be in attendance and meet some of the wrestlers.

It’s a great, heartwarming story that speaks to Smith’s character and he and Borgonzi deserve the great time they’re having at WrestleMania XL.
