Acclaimed actor Cillian Murphy has revealed whether or not he would be open to being in a Peaky Blinders movie set after the show.

During yesterday’s Actors on Actors video from Variety, Margot Robbie spoke with Murphy about their two major movies from this year — Barbie and Oppenheimer. Robbie revealed that she’s a major Peaky Blinders fan, then asked if there would be a spin-off movie.

“I mean, I’m open to the idea,” Murphy answered. “I’ve always thought that if there’s more story to tell … well, we’ll see.”

Robbie enthusiastically said that there’s more story to tell then asked him to do a movie. Flattered, Murphy stated that he’s proud of the six seasons but that he’s still open to the idea.

“Well, who knows, I guess,” Murphy stated. “That’s very kind of you to say. I mean, I’m totally open to the idea, but I also do think it was a kind of perfect six seasons. It’s sometimes hard to move into the film format, and I do like the ambiguity of the ending. But I’m always open to a great script, you know? Who wouldn’t be?”
