Eight minors were shot and one is in critical condition on Philadelphia SEPTA buses in the city’s Burholme neighborhood.
Shots rang out around 3pm Wednesday at Rising Sun and Cottman avenues in Northwest Philly.
According to Action News, four to eight victims were juveniles and three of them suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. A fourth was shot in the chest.
Police have advised people to avoid the area as they investigate the incident.
This is the latest in bus shootings on SEPTA buses in the past three days as Charles Lawson, the Chief of SEPTA Transit Police said: ‘We are going to target every criminal code on the books.’

The victims’ conditions also remain unclear at this time. SEPTA said that there were no injuries reported to employees or passengers.
The transportation company did say that a Route 18 bus and a Route 67 bus were struck by gunfire near the scene of the shooting.
