Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement for Fabio Carvalho to go on loan to Hull City for the remainder of the season. Carvalho, who struggled for playing time at RB Leipzig, will have the opportunity to revive his career with this new arrangement, according to Jurgen Klopp.

Carvalho had an impressive season with Fulham in the Championship under Marco Silva, scoring 10 goals as a teenager in the 2021/22 campaign. Liverpool decided to sign him for £5 million based on his performance. Although he showed promise initially, Carvalho was sent out on loan to RB Leipzig this season. However, the loan did not go as planned, with Carvalho failing to score or assist in 14 appearances.

With several attacking options already competing for minutes at Liverpool, including Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, and Mohamed Salah, the club has decided to send Carvalho out on another temporary deal. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Carvalho is waiting for approval to join Hull City for the rest of the season.

In addition to Carvalho, Liverpool has also recalled Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams from their loan spells at Celtic and Aberdeen respectively. Despite not making any permanent signings, Klopp believes his team can cope without Salah by utilizing players in different positions and being creative with their tactics.
