Welcome to your tech recap of the week. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra will have more than 12GB of RAM. A Samsung vice president used the company’s earnings call to reveal that the Galaxy S25 series will have cutting-edge cameras, displays, and chipsets.
Google Pixel 9 rumors have been heating up over the past few weeks. This week, we got a hands-on video of the Pixel 9 Pro XL and size comparisons with popular phones like the Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra. A leak detailed the phones’ storage, software, and charging. Expect 7 years of feature releases, but the phones will launch with Android 14, as number 15 is still being finalized.
All phones will start with 128GB of storage, while the Pixel 9 will go up to 256GB, and the Pros will get 256/512GB/1TB. As for RAM, the regular will get 12GB, while the Pros will get 16GB. Charging will come at 45W.
Samsung’s MX VP said this on the recent earnings call, but didn’t clarify whether this applies to the entire S25 series or just the Ultra.
The official announcement will be made in a few weeks, but there have been several leaks – and this may be the most comprehensive.
