Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 16 Pro Max in a new color, reportedly called Desert Titanium. There was some speculation that it would have a gold hue, but according to a leaked hands-on video, the device is definitely brown, not gold.
What we’re seeing is likely a simulation and not the real device, but even so, the color is in line with real photos seen previously.
All iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max colors will be called Titanium — we’re expecting Titanium White, Black, Gray, and Gold.
Now the big question is what will this hero color be called, because rumors are suggesting Desert or Gold. We also heard reports of Rose (which is typically a pink hue), but we likely won’t know for sure until the September 9 event begins.

The official launch of the iPhone 16 series is scheduled for September 9. There are ten days left until the event, during which we will undoubtedly hear more rumors on the subject, but everything will be revealed the following Tuesday.
