Samsung Galaxy S25 And Galaxy S25+ is expected to launch in January, and is currently making its way very slowly through various regulatory authorities around the world, receiving certification.
Today’s 3C certification in China revealed a rather disappointing fact. Both phones will have the exact same maximum charging rate as their predecessors.
So, the Galaxy S25 will charge at up to 25W, while the Galaxy S25+ will charge at up to 45W. That’s over USB-C, of course. Unfortunately, wireless charging speeds weren’t revealed via 3C certification, so we’ll have to wait for those details to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, we have another area of stagnation for Samsung’s flagship smartphone line – design. S25 And S25+ being another very clear example of this, both phones look almost identical to each other. Galaxy S24 And S24+Obviously, the S25 and S25+ will focus on refinement and will not aim to revolutionize the market in any way.
