Ivanka Trump donned a bulletproof vest as she and her husband Jared Kushner toured a kibbutz in Israel that was devastated by the Hamas conflict.

The former first daughter, 42, and her husband, also 42, were pictured touring Kfar Aza, a southern kibbutz close to the border with Gaza, on Thursday, just over two months after the community was horrifically ripped apart by a Hamas terrorist attack.

On October 7, members of the Gaza-based terrorist group burst through the border fence and killed more than 50 civilians while kidnapping many more.

The ex-White House advisor looked somber throughout the visit, wearing long, green trousers and a white and button down blouse with a black bulletproof vest over it.

Meanwhile her husband Jared donned khaki pants and a brown top over which he also wore a bulletproof vest.

It’s been reported that the pair will spend 24 hours in Israel, having arrived in Jerusalem on Thursday morning.

According to The Jerusalem Post, Ivanka and her husband ‘heard testimonies from local residents who lived in the community up until the Hamas attack,’ as well as ‘border Police and IDF soldiers who were among those to help save lives and eliminate the infiltrating Hamas terrorists during their cross-border massacre.’

The publication reported that one former resident, named Chen Kotler, told the couple, ‘In this kibbutz, there were 64 people murdered, 19 were kidnapped, numerous wounded.

‘But the most important thing is that five are still hostages in captivity in Gaza.’

Chen reportedly gifted them a dog tag that said, ‘Kfar Aza is my home,’ before adding, ‘Hopefully, one day, I can host you in my home.’

‘Thank you for sharing your stories with us. I just have to say it’s very humbling for me to be with you, with the heroic acts that you did,’ Jared said during the visit. ‘What you did had made a massive difference.’

The daughter of former President Donald Trump converted to Judaism before her 2009 marriage to Jared, an observant Jew.

The pair are raising their three children, Arabella, 12; Joseph, 10; and Theodore, seven, in the same faith – and enrolled all of them in a Jewish school when they moved to Miami after her father’s presidency came to an end.

Earlier this month, Ivanka shared a moving post in honor of the first night of Hanukkah.

‘This Hanukkah, as we light the menorah, let us reflect on the deeper meaning of this Festival of Lights,’ she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

‘It’s a time to celebrate resilience and faith, to spread joy and warmth in our communities and to bring light to the world even in the darkest of times.

‘May our small lights join together this holiday season to brighten the world, reminding us that even the smallest spark can dispel great darkness.’

Ivanka announced that she was officially quitting politics in November 2022, explaining at the time that she will be prioritizing her private life instead of joining her dad’s upcoming presidential campaign.

‘I love my father very much. This time around, I’m choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,’ she said.

‘While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.’

She has certainly embraced a jet-set lifestyle since stepping back from the cut-throat world of politics – embarking on a dozen trips in the last year alone.

Most recently, she headed to Las Vegas for the opening of the $3.7 billion Fontainebleau resort – where she rubbed shoulders with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Tom Brady, Cher, and Sylvester Stallone.

In addition, Ivanka has visited the Bahamas, Greece, Jordan for the royal wedding of the Crown Prince Hussein, Costa Rica, Spain, New York City, Morocco, London, Prague, Utah, Egypt, Qatar, and Paris over the course of the last 12 months.
