During Thursday night’s tight win over the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden scored 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Not only did that help the Clippers win over the reigning champions, but it also put Harden in a very exclusive club.

On Twitter, the Clippers announced that Harden joined Russell Westbrook, Oscar Robertson, and LeBron James in the 25,000 points, 7,000 assists, and 6,000-rebounds club.

As the Clippers put it, Harden is now a part of some “elite company.”

Harden has had an undeniably good season for the Clippers, although it didn’t start that way.

He has averaged 16.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game.

When Harden first came to the Clippers at the start of 2023-24, the team had a very hard time scoring wins and there were many questions about how well this new-look Clippers was going to work out.

But the Clippers finally found their footing and became one of the best teams in the Western Conference.

Harden was seen as a loose cannon and a washed star by some when he came over to Los Angeles, but now he is seen as a vital part of the team’s lineup.

The Clippers have slipped a bit over the last few weeks but are still the fourth-best team in the Western Conference and ready to fight into the playoffs.

More importantly, all players are fully healthy before the postseason for the first time in years.

Because of that, and the skills that Harden brings, the Clippers could earn big victories over the next several weeks.

Harden earned his place in NBA history on Thursday night, but can his team earn playoff success?
