Kylian Mbappe has found a worthy opponent since moving to La Liga in none other than Oli McBurnie.
THE Real Madrid The star has had a steady start to his career at the Bernabéu, failing to score or provide an assist in any of his three league games so far.
In stark contrast, a familiar face to Premier League fans is already making a big impression.
McBurnie completed a surprise move to Las Palmas over the summer after his contract with Sheffield United.
With just 13 goals in 96 Premier League games, few would expect him to be mentioned in the same breath as Mbappe when it comes to La Liga signings.

However, the Scot is already outpacing the French star with two assists in three games so far.
His latest assist came in Las Palmas’ 1-1 draw with Real Madrid on Thursday night, a result which left Carlo Ancelotti’s side with just one win in three league games.
McBurnie set up Alberto Moleiro after just five minutes to give Las Palmas a shock early lead at home.
But Real Madrid avoided defeat when Vinicius Jr. scored a penalty to secure a draw.
While McBurnie has spent the last five years bouncing between the Premier League and EFL with Sheffield United, Mbappe has proven himself to be arguably the best player in the world.

As the jewel in the crown of the Spanish giants, the forward will be expected to score goals for fun as Real Madrid look to continue their dominance in Spain and the Champions League.
While Mbappé’s start to life in Madrid has been steady by his own ridiculously high standards, few will be too concerned about what the future holds for him at the Bernabeu.
The 25-year-old will undoubtedly be one of the most influential strikers in La Liga this term. The only question is whether he can outperform his new arch-rival McBurnie as the season progresses.
Mbappe will have another chance to score or provide an assist on Sunday night when Real Madrid take on Real Betis at home.
They will then face Real Sociedad after the international break, before their first Champions League clash of the season in the week of September 17.
Although the fixtures have not been announced, Mbappé and company will face Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, FC Salzburg, Stuttgart, Liverpool, Atalanta, Lille and Brest in the Champions League group stage.
