Tragedy has struck in Bosnia after a former employee unleashed terror on a school gymnasium, resulting in the deaths of at least three people.
The shooting took place in Sanski Most at around 10:15 a.m. local time, killing three people and injuring another.
Adnan Beganovic, spokesman for the MUP, said: “According to the information so far, three people died, while one person suffered physical injuries, and their transportation to the University Clinical Center of the Serb Republic is underway.”
Local media identified the victims as esteemed school principal Nijaz Halilovic, dedicated English teacher Gordana Midzan and Nisveta Kljunic; their remains were transferred to the Sanski Most Health Center, sources said.
Police are currently at the crime scene. Local media reported that the perpetrator was previously employed at the besieged educational institution.
