The 32-year-old was kicked out of the dance show last Friday. But she then returned at short notice to replace actor and singer Mark Keller. He announced his retirement on Tuesday due to an Achilles tendon injury.
The competition is too much for Lulu
Jury chairman Joachim Llambi said he took into account the fact that the singer had started training again at short notice. Lewe and her dance partner Massimo Sinató received 23 points for the Viennese waltz to “La Complainte de la Butte” by Zaz. The subsequent trio dance to Madonna’s “Material Girl” together with professional dancer Patricija Ionel received 26 points.

However, the competition in the tenth show of the season proved strong: the judges awarded four of the ten dances the highest possible number of 30 points. Singer Gabriel Kelly and professional dancer Malika Dzumaev even achieved the highest points twice.

The semi-finals of ‘Let’s Dance’ have arrived
This season’s quarter-finals also surprised with a new location: for the first time in the show’s history, the live show was not broadcast from the original studio in Cologne-Ossendorf, but from the Musical Dome near the Cologne Cathedral. The musical “Moulin Rouge!” is actually carried out there.
The show’s motto was “A Special Musical Night” – the five couples danced across the floor to songs from “Moulin Rouge!” In addition to Gabriel Kelly, choreographer Detlef D is now also in the semi-finals! Soost, sports journalist Jana Wosnitza and influencer Ann-Kathrin Bendixen in the race.
