The 23-year-old was taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated extortion Police announced on Friday. He was arrested by officers on Wednesday after the alleged crime.

The man is said to have been aggressive towards the two 18- and 22-year-old students. There would also have been skirmishes and a weapon would have been displayed. A blank pistol was seized when the man was arrested. The students were not injured.
