Manchester United have reportedly identified Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise as one of the first transfer targets of the Sir Jim Ratcliffe era this summer. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is being lined up for a Selhurst Park return as part of a swap deal for the 22-year-old star.

He is entering the final 12 months of his United contract, making the summer the final opportunity for the club to recoup some of the £50million paid for his signature in 2019.

But using Wan-Bissaka as part of a deal for Olise, who has become one of the Premier League’s most exciting wingers, would be another valid approach.

Reports claim the 26-year-old’s availability could help United beat rival suitors Chelsea and Liverpool to Olise.

It remains to be seen whether Wan-Bissaka would be keen to return to Palace, though.

And if not, Erik ten Hag has different players he could table to convince the Eagles to sell.

Express Sport looks at the three other options United have to offer Palace to lure Olise to Old Trafford later this year.

Victor Lindelof

Like Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof will enter the final year of his United contract in the summer after the club triggered a 12-month extension clause.

The Swedish international is currently considered unlikely to sign a new deal, meaning he could very feasibly leave as part of a centre-back overhaul at the end of the season.

Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans are also expected to leave, with at least two set to be targeted.

Palace may be tempted to freshen up their central-defensive options with Lindelof, an experienced Premier League and European player.

Christian Eriksen

Christian Eriksen is also entering the final third of the three-year contract he signed at United in 2022.

The 31-year-old has looked off the pace this season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him leave Old Trafford before the expiry of his deal.

Palace could be interested in adding Eriksen’s experience and technical quality to their midfield under a fresh start once Roy Hodgson leaves the club at the end of the season.

However, given he turns 32 next month, Eriksen would unlikely knock off much of Olise’s transfer fee.

Facundo Pellistri

United could be tempted to put their feelings out for interest in Antony this summer after a disappointing first two seasons since his £86m switch from Ajax.

That doesn’t look on the cards, though, and another right-winger in Facundo Pellistri is much more likely to leave if he doesn’t permanently before the January deadline.

Pellistri isn’t getting his desired minutes at United but hasn’t been short of loan interest from the Premier League.

Palace could well be interested in adding him to the ranks, but, similar to the other two stars in this list, the 22-year-old Uruguayan wouldn’t knock off much of the Olise asking price.
