Manchester United have yet to make any significant signings in the January transfer window, despite hopes of strengthening their squad after a difficult first half of the season. The club’s fans were optimistic following Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s investment in the team, but so far no star-studded arrivals have materialized. Rumors have been circulating, with strikers Serhou Guirassy and Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting linked to potential moves to Old Trafford.

In the past 24 hours, there have been two standout stories coming out of Manchester United. The first is that the club is reportedly prepared to offer Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to Crystal Palace in order to sign Michael Olise. Wan-Bissaka has been linked with a return to Selhurst Park, despite United activating an option to extend his contract. Olise has emerged as a major target for the Red Devils, with Chelsea previously interested in him during the summer.

The second story involves Barcelona’s Andreas Christensen. United are among the clubs interested in signing the defender if Barcelona decide to let him go. It is reported that Newcastle is also interested in Christensen, who previously played for Chelsea before joining Barcelona.

Former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has been urged as a potential signing by former United player Louis Saha. Saha believes that Benzema would bring a much-needed boost to United’s attack and improve team play.

Overall, Manchester United’s transfer activity in this window has been relatively quiet so far, but there is still time for them to make some moves before the deadline.
