AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D 3D V-Cache CPU arrives in Germany at Mindfactory, sold exclusively in the US by Microcenter

AMD has taken an interesting approach with some of its recent Zen 4 CPU releases by making them available through select retailers. One example of this is the Ryzen 5 5600X3D, which was sold in US markets only through MicroCenter.

Similarly, the new AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPUwhich was previously considered exclusive to the same retailer in the USA (Microcenter) for $299.99is now available at the German retailer Mind Factorywhich is a good thing for German gamers who wanted a new budget AM5 option with 3D V-Cache.

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D It is a six-core CPU with a base clock speed of 4.1 GHz and a boost clock speed of 4.7 GHz. The Zen 4 CPU features a massive 96 MB L3 cache via 3D V-Cache technology, which means consumers should witness huge performance increases, especially in single-threaded performance.

The processor is said to be compatible with AM5 motherboards, allowing for cross-compatibility even for users who have switched to the Zen5 platform and want to try out the new 3D V-Cache processor.

Interestingly, MicroCenter itself benchmarked the CPU in gaming scenarios, notably Cyberpunk 2077 and F1 23, and the Ryzen 5 7600X3D manages to hold its own against the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but still falls behind it in some cases. Overall, the Ryzen 5 7600X3D is a great option for the budget segment, and given the popularity of the X3D SKUs among consumers, we believe the Ryzen 5 7600X3D could be a great option.

In terms of pricing, the CPU will retail for $299 in the US, along with a bundle that includes a 32GB DDR5-6000 memory kit and an ASUS B650 motherboard for $449.99while at Mindfactory, it is available for €329. We are not sure about global availability for now, but the CPU will definitely be available in the US and Europe. We may see the processor available at exclusive retailers in these regions.
