Harry Kane’s all-round game is undoubtedly world class. Even one referee was impressed in a recent pre-season friendly.

The England captain scored a goal during the 4-0 win featuring Michael Olise, Mathys Tel and Thomas Muller.

But scoring goals isn’t the only thing the 31-year-old has in his arsenal, as he can add passing range and seamless containment play.

Body camera footage of the referee has been released from that friendly and one moment appears to show him looking impressed with Kane.

Kane advanced to collect the ball close to the halfway line and was under huge pressure but expertly kept possession for Bayern.

The referee can be heard saying ‘perfect, perfect. Okay Harry’.

Kane and Bayern are preparing for the start of the Bundesliga season hoping to bounce back from last season’s disappointing third-place finish.

It was the first time in over a decade that they had not won a league title.

For Kane, it was the best goalscoring season of his career, with 36 goals in the Bundesliga and 44 in all competitions.

He also won the Bundesliga Goal of the Month award five times and was named in the Team of the Season.

The striker was also the top scorer in the Champions League and was again selected for the team of the season.

However, trophies continue to elude him and he is yet to win a single title in his career.

For Kane there is a main goal this season… to gain something.

“I want to keep scoring goals and help the team,” he told Sport Bild. “But the main goal is to win titles. We have to get Bayern back to winning titles. That’s my goal, and that’s the club’s goal.

“It won’t be easy, but we have a great coach, we have a lot of renewed energy and high intensity in training. You will see that in the games as well.

“I’m really excited to see how it’s going to go. I’m really excited to see how things are going to go with the new coach and the way we play. We’re going to have a lot of the ball and a lot of chances.

“For me, this is the perfect way to play. I hope to get a lot of chances and score some of them.”
