One person is seriously injured by gunfire

Police in Munich carried out a major operation late on Monday afternoon. The reason for this was the discovery of a seriously injured person, the researchers announced on the X platform. The focus is on the Milbertshofen district in the north of the Bavarian capital, where an argument took place between two people.

Munich police chief Christian Drexler confirmed to the editorial network Germany (RND) that shots were also fired. One person was seriously injured. According to the information, she was found on the street near the Frankfurter Ring metro station.

On Platform X, the police further announced: “We have numerous troops on the ground. We will report back.”

According to a police spokeswoman, the suspect is on the run and detectives have launched an extensive search. There is no danger to the public. There were numerous officers on the scene, and some of them began collecting evidence at the scene that evening.

According to police, the seriously injured man was taken to a hospital. Officials initially could not provide details about his health when asked.
