The Kansas City Chiefs have an opportunity to do something unique in 2024.
They could become the very first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

With that in mind, they signed star DT Chris Jones to one of the biggest deals for a defensive player in NFL history.
He signed a five-year deal that will net him around $32 million per year, with almost $95 million in guarantees.

Jones has always been very active on social media, and the fans got accustomed to watching his cryptic tweets about his contract negotiation.
This time, however, there was nothing cryptic about his post.
Jones is one of the best defensive players in the league and wanted to be paid as such.
He’s worth every single dime of this new contract, and it showed significantly last season, especially when he wasn’t around in the season opener.
Steve Spagnuolo has put together one of the best defenses in the game, and a lot of that has to do with Jones and his impact at the line of scrimmage.
Now, they must add more weapons around Mahomes.
