PlayStation VR2 was designed with PC compatibility in mind from the start, SIE confirmed in a new short interview.
As confirmed by Japanese agency AV ClockThe importance of PC compatibility was known within the headset development team, and was taken into consideration during its design phase. As soon as PlayStation VR2 launched, the team first worked on optimizing the VR experience on PlayStation 5, and then moved on to developing PC compatibility, which is finally arriving this week with the launch of adapter.
In addition to asking a SIE representative the three questions, AV Watch also discussed how the PlayStation VR2 headset performs on PC. According to the reviewer, the headset is good enough for a PC VR headset, but not the best, mainly due to some issues related to its sweet post and overall image quality.
The PlayStation VR2 PC adapter will be released tomorrow, August 7, worldwide. You can learn more about the headset by reading Kai’s article analysis.
