  • The group Within Our Lifetimes has organized a number of disruptive protests across NYC in the months following October 7
  • Now, the group, in conjunction with several other pro-Palestinian entities, are telling supporters to go ‘ALL OUT FOR GAZA’ on International Women’s Day

Palestinian community organizing group Within Our Lifetimes is planning an International Women’s Day protest that will likely disrupt the flow of transportation across New York City.

Earlier this week, the organization announced their ‘Global Strike for Gaza,’ which will take place at 4pm on Friday in Manhattan’s Union Square.

The strike announcement comes after the group caused major chaos in New York City on New Year’s Day this year when they instructed participants to flood JFK’s Terminal 4.

The group posted to X instructions for its supporters to follow on Friday to get to the protest site.

The N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, 6, and L trains may be disrupted by those flocking to the protest, or by the protest itself once it gets going.

Online flyers for the protest seem to indicate it is being run in conjunction with other pro-Palestinian groups Decolonize This Place and Existence is Resistance.

On X, WOL wrote, in announcing the protest: ‘To commemorate International Women’s Day and answer the call from women in Palestine, we are mobilizing as part of a Global Strike for Gaza on FRIDAY, MARCH 8TH AT 4:00 PM IN UNION SQUARE!

‘As the Zionist entity has used lies of sexual violence to legitimize the ongoing genocide in Gaza while there is no accountability for the real sexual violence that Palestinian women have experienced at the hands of occupation soldiers for decades,’ they wrote.

Members of some of these pro-Palestinian groups have continuously claimed that accounts of sexual violence against Israeli women on October 7 are ‘not true.’

‘We are going to flood New York to show the world that Palestinian liberation is inextricably linked with women’s liberation. ALL OUT FOR GAZA,’ concluded the post.

In December, suspended NYU professor Amin Husain, told a group of New School students that they live ‘in a Zionist city’ and that those who ‘try to put them on the defensive’ are merely victims of the narrative that Hamas raped people and beheaded babies.

‘Both of which, you know, whatever, we know it’s not true,’ he said.

Husain’s lengthy Canary Mission profile claims, correctly according to him, that he ‘has organized multiple violent New York City disruptions, promoted hatred of America and the police and incited hatred against pro-Israel supporters with Within Our Lifetime (WOL), an anti-Israel activist group in New York.’

‘He has also expressed support for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group and glorified its leaders, promoted other terrorists and spread hatred of Israel,’ according to the site.

He further claims to have ‘participated in the first intifada and personally visited a leader of the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). He has also expressed support for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group and glorified its leaders, promoted other terrorists and spread hatred of Israel.’

On New Year’s Day, travelers were told to leave for JFK extra early due to the significant disruptions caused by pro-Palestinian protestors that were blocking roads to the major airport

Husain is also the founding member of Decolonize This Place, a radical activist group that, in the immediate aftermath of October 7, praised the radical Palestinian terrorism as ‘heroic.’

The group has also previously participated in causing $100,000 worth of damage to the NYC subway system during various anti-police riots.

More recently, anti-Israel protestors have been out in New York City demonstrating in front of cancer hospitals.

In mid-January, thousands of marchers demanding a ceasefire to the fighting in Gaza during an event called ‘Flood Manhattan for Gaza MLK Day march for healthcare.’

At one point, as they passed by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on the Upper East Side, where they shouted ‘Shame!’

An organizer for the pro-Palestine group Within Our Lifetime attempted to explain their rhetoric on X, accusing the hospital of accepting money from pro-Israel billionaires.

Anti-Israel protesters were seen on video Monday passing by a New York City cancer hospital, where they shockingly yelled to 'make sure' the patients can hear them as they accused them of 'complicity in genocide'

‘Sloan Kettering accepted a *400 million dollar donation* from billionaire Zionist Ken Griffin, the largest in their history. This was *after* he threatened pro-Palestine student activists at Harvard with revoked job offers. Our medical institutions are not innocent bystanders.’ But others were horrified by the behavior.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Griffin condemned the protesters and reaffirmed his commitment to the hospital.

‘I am proud to support the heroes at Memorial Sloan Kettering who every day are providing compassionate care for patients suffering from cancer,’ he said.

‘MSK is one of the leading hospitals in the world and it is heartbreaking that innocent patients were made to feel threatened by these protestors while undergoing life-saving treatment.’
