With less than a week before the Chicago Bears are on the clock with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the consensus is that the struggling franchise will bring in USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams.

Ever since it became known that the Bears would have the top pick in the upcoming draft, Williams has seemingly been headed to Chicago, as many believe he is the best prospect in this draft class.

Now that Williams will inevitably land with the Bears on April 25, unless something crazy happens between now and then, the former Trojans superstar is talking with the media about his immediate future in the NFL and what he plans to do on the next level.

Recently, Williams told “The Pivot” that once his NFL career gets underway, he’ll be chasing Tom Brady in terms of championships.

“I wanna play at one place for 20 years, chase one guy — No. 12 [Tom Brady],” Williams said, via Mike Kadlick.

Obviously, Williams has a long way to go before he can even get close to accomplishing what Brady did on the professional level with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady ended his playing career with seven Super Bowl titles, which is something that Patrick Mahomes is currently chasing, as he’s now won three with the Kansas City Chiefs.

As for Williams, he’ll be starting from scratch with a team that hasn’t won a title since 1985 and has never had a superstar quarterback leading the way, as it has always been a defense-led squad in Chicago.
