Without a doubt, one of the most exciting new features of this year’s iPhone 16 series is the new Camera control buttonwhich is technically not a button. It’s a pressure-sensitive area with a precise haptic motor that mimics a physical button press. Well, Realme’s marketing director showed off the same “button” on Weibo.
The video shows Realme’s official testing of an unknown phone equipped with the same feature. It shows how you can instantly launch the camera and then use the button for various controls, including zoom. To be honest, it doesn’t look as smooth as it does on iPhones, but this is a pre-production sample after all, so it will probably look better when it’s released.
The executive suggests that the button uses the same technology as Apple’s Camera Control key and then clarifies that this isn’t the Realme GT7 Pro. Still, it seems that Realme has been working on the feature for a while now and it’s almost ready to launch.
