The Redmi Note 14 family is coming – the Redmi Note 13 launched in China last September, and now we are fast approaching that September, which is likely when the Redmi Note 14 will be announced for the brand’s home market.

Prior to this moment, the Redmi Note 14 has now been certified for sale in the Chinese market by 3C. This certification only revealed the phone’s wired charging capability, which will be 45W.

That’s a clear improvement over the 33W of its predecessor, and the Redmi Note 14 could also receive other upgrades — we just don’t know what they are, at least not yet.

Now that the device has begun its certification dance, it will no doubt pick up more certifications left and right, and each one will slowly reveal an extra piece or two of the puzzle.

Just to clarify: we’re talking about the Chinese Redmi Note 14 here, with model number 24090RA29C (this model number has been mentioned in the Redmi Note 14 series for some time now, and the 45W charging tells us it’s the ‘regular’ Redmi Note 14, not the Pro or Pro+, as both are supposed to have faster charging).

The international Redmi Note 14, if history repeats itself, will arrive a few months after the Chinese one (perhaps in January) and may have different specifications, at least in some aspects.
