Mohamed Salah could be sidelined for three-to-four weeks with the injury he suffered while playing for Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations, according to his agent.
The Liverpool attacker’s representative, Ramy Abbas Issa, posted on social media that “Mohamed’s injury is more serious than first thought and he will be out for 21-28 days, and not two games.”
Egypt risks group-stage elimination at the Africa Cup of Nations after two draws to open its campaign. The tournament final is on Feb. 11.
