This may really be the end of the road for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite as the device has received its third, and likely final, OS update. Although it’s worth noting that the device received One UI 6.0 earlier this year. The tablet launched with Android 11 in mid-2021 and has just received a One UI 6.1 update based on Android 14 in South Korea.
The firmware version is T225NKOU8EXH2 and includes the July 2024 security patch and of course most of the new features intrinsic to Android 14 and One UI 6.1.
While most devices that were due to get an update have already received the latest One UI 6.1 and some are even waiting for version 6.1.1, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a bit late to the party. Then again, it’s a low-priority budget tablet and we’re surprised it got its third major software update in the first place.
Since the update is rolling out in South Korea, you may have to wait for it to reach your region, but it shouldn’t take too long.
