The much talked about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Editionknown until very recently as the Galaxy Z Fold Slim or Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, will actually have S Pen support, according to a new rumor today.
This contradicts a previous rumor that claimed it wouldn’t support Samsung’s stylus. Of course, we can’t vouch for the validity of either of these rumors, so take both with a grain of salt.
Also, keep in mind that S Pen support, if it pans out, doesn’t mean the phone will have a dedicated internal slot for the stylus, just that you’ll be able to use it on the device — just like you can on the Galaxy Z Fold6.
Unfortunately, a foldable like this simply doesn’t have enough internal space to allow for S Pen integration in the same way the S24 Ultra can. Or rather, if that were to happen, either the battery capacity would decrease a lot or the size of the phone would increase a lot – or both.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will have a 200 MP main cameraand will be just 4.9mm thick when unfolded and 10.6mm thick when folded. Its internal screen will be 8″, the external screen will be 6.5″.
