Breaking: Taylor Swift leaves her LA home

DailyMail.com understands Taylor Swift has left her LA home and is on her way to the airport to board her flight to Las Vegas.

We’ll bring more updates as we get them.

George Kittle has arrived

Much of the pre-game talk has focused around one tight end in particular.

But the other is an exceptional player and will be a worry for the Chiefs defense tonight.

49ers star George Kittle looked full of confidence as he strolled into the stadium moments ago.

Worth a go I suppose

Daniel Matthews in Las Vegas: There are still more than four hours until kickoff but already fans are piling out of the Mandalay Bay casino, down on to the walkway up to Allegiant stadium.

Some hopeful supporters are begging for spare tickets…

Here come the Chiefs

CBS reporters have just revealed on air that Patrick Mahomes was on the first Chiefs bus out of their hotel that’s heading to Allegiant Stadium.

The 49ers players are also on their way after coach Shanahan got there nice and early this afternoon.

Fans are on the move

My colleague Alex Raskin is soaking up the atmosphere on the iconic Las Vegas strip and fans are beginning to make their way towards Allegiant Stadium.

Reports on the ground have suggested 49ers fans are seriously outnumbering their Chiefs rivals in the city, which makes sense geographically.

Imagine how loud the side line is going to be come kickoff time…

The numbers behind the Super Bowl

Everything is expensive when it comes to the Super Bowl.

Tickets, commercials, travel… nothing else can compare to the money being spent around today’s game.

Sports business expert Joe Pompliano lifted the lid on the astonishing costs behind Super Bowl LVIII.

It’s finally here. After a chaotic week of build up in Las Vegas the stage is set for Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium.

Finally, the Chiefs and 49ers are ready to go to battle in the NFL’s biggest game.

Vegas has been awash with big-spending celebrities, hundreds of thousands of fans and football festivities all week but we are now just hours away from kickoff.

It emerged earlier on Sunday that Uber Eats was pressured to make a last-minute change to its Super Bowl commercial.

The buzzy commerical, starring Friends actors David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, was released February 6.

But complaints quickly surfaced about a quick scene of a man with a peanut allergy eating peanut butter.

As a result, Uber Eats has agreed to cut the roughly three-second scene, which occurs about 35 seconds into the 60-second commercial.

Breaking: We have our first arrivals

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is known for his cerebal methods and intense preparation.

He’s arrived at Allegiant Stadium with just under five and a half hours to kickoff.

The calm before the storm!

We have our first pictures from inside Allegiant Stadium. It may be quiet now but the eyes of the world will be upon it in just a few hours.

It’s home to the Las Vegas Raiders and, interestingly, because they insist on playing on grass, even in a dome, the field spends most of the time outside in sunlight and is rolled in on a tray for games.

Chief Sports Writer Oliver Holt is part of our team in Las Vegas for the game.

Here’s his big-game preview on how Las Vegas and the Super Bowl are a match made in heaven.

Donna Kelce was spotted grabbing a quick Starbucks just hours before watching son Travis play and even gave DailyMail.com her prediction.

Donna has been in Sin City for the past few days ahead of the big game.

She’s expected to sit with Taylor Swift, the singer’s family, ex-husband Ed and both Jason and his wife Kylie at Allegiant Stadium later on.

But how does she think the game is going to go down?

Jason Kelce will be hoping his brother can win the big one later tonight but he was ecstatic on the casino floor overnight, winning big and celebrating with wife Kylie.

Inside the Chiefs camp

What goes on inside a team’s hotel on the night before the Super Bowl?

Well, according to NFL reporter Albert Breer, Chiefs coach Andy Reid had Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones address the team…

Now, before we get into the football, it’s probably best to clarify where in the world Taylor Swift is.

The answer: Los Angeles.

The songstress touched down in LA late on Saturday night following an eight-hour flight from Tokyo, arriving to a media and fan frenzy and high police presence at the airport.

After getting some much needed rest, she’s now expected to fly from LA to Vegas in the coming hours so she’s there in plenty of time for kickoff.

The Super Bowl is here!
