This is the penultimate tournament of the LIV golf season in Chicago this week, and with the team competition coming up, this is the last time players can move up the individual leaderboard.
Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann are the only two players capable of winning the Individual Championship, but there are plenty of other players who will be confident they can overcome this week’s test in Bolingbrook and earn a big check.

LIV Golf Chicago betting tips
Relaxed DeChambeau can defeat rivals
Bolingbrook is a municipal course in the Windy City that is unlikely to give top golfers much trouble, and the powerful Bryson DeChambeau, who finished 6-2-1 in all three U.S. majors this year, should have no trouble dominating it.
He’s under no pressure this week and this layout should suit him perfectly.
With six top-10 finishes in LIV this season, the US Open champion has been a model of consistency.
The big-hitting specialist has fond memories of Illinois, having won this tournament when it was held at Rich Harvest Farms last year, and while market rivals Rahm and Niemann will be focused on winning the top prize, DeChambeau could struggle to come out on top here.
Smith equipped to see the job through
It could all come down to a stroke play at Bolingbrook, with the field likely to dominate the modest test, and we could see plenty of low scores.
And one player who could emerge from the pack to take the prize is former Open champion Cameron Smith, who has found excellent form in the LIV Tour season-ending finale.
He missed the Open cut at Troon but placed ninth at Nashville, sixth at Andalucia and eighth last time out at the Greenbrier.
The Australian’s second place in the UK leg at JCB Golf & Country Club last month was his third runner-up finish of the season and this looks like a good chance for him to finally get over the line.
Oosthuizen ends the season in good shape
Another Claret Jug winner, Louis Oosthuizen, appears to have benefited from the LIV Tour’s quieter schedule after some injury problems, and the South African’s recent form has been strong.
He was runner-up in Jeddah in March and Adelaide in April, and has performed particularly well in the latter tournaments.
Oosthuizen was fourth at Valderrama, sixth at JCB and had an incredible finish at the Greenbrier where a final round of 60 earned him a tie for eighth, so he will likely be a factor.
