Taylor Swift’s father Scott, 71, is accused of assaulting Aussie photographer at a Sydney wharf as megastar lets her hair down until 3am after wrapping up her Eras tour.
Police confirmed Scott Swift, 71, allegedly assaulted Ben McDonald, 51, at a ferry wharf in Neutral Bay at about 3am on Tuesday morning.
It is understood Taylor and her father had been put partying to celebrate her final Sydney show when the alleged incident took place.
An investigation into the alleged incident has been launched by the North Shore Police Command.
Mr McDonald told Daily Mail Australia that Taylor and Scott had travelled from Homebush, where the performance was, on a luxury superyacht called Quantum.
When they got off, Scott allegedly ‘charged’ at him.
He had originally thought it was a security guard and was shocked when he realised the allegedly attacker was Scott.

‘In 23 years I have never seen anything like it,’ he said.
He didn’t know what triggered the alleged assault, but said: ‘He probably decided he needed to defend his daughter, for some reason.’
‘She got off the boat, she walked towards security guards who were shoving umbrellas in our faces, and then he charged.’
Mr McDonald does not believe he will have any lasting injuries, but he has ‘very sore chops’ on the left side of his face.
