Bundesliga football team 1. FC Heidenheim achieved its sixth clear victory against a lower-class opponent in a row in preparation for the new season. Coach Frank Schmidt’s team won 4-0 (2-0) against 1. FC Normannia Gmünd from the Oberliga.
The two new signings Paul Wanner (21st minute) and Luca Kerber (25th) were successful in the first half. After the break Jan Schöppner rose after almost an hour and Christopher Negele (89th). On Wednesday the first real benchmark is on the program in the training camp in Mils/Tirol against the Italian first division promoted team Parma Calcio.
