The latest game in the much-loved franchise Atelier has been revealed by KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Gust. The new game in the franchise will be titled Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land. To celebrate the announcement of this upcoming game, KOEI TECMO posted a three-minute trailer yesterday to show off some of the action-packed gameplay that people can expect when diving into this game.
The trailer showcases some of the main characters players can expect to see when playing the JRPG, such as Viktor von Duerer, a member of the Order of Eustella, and Isla von Duerer, both responsible for monitoring the Alchemist.
The trailer explains a bit of the story and the purpose of the Alchemist through narration. It is the player’s job to free Mana that is trapped in the world, as high concentrations of Mana can have devastating effects. The trailer then shows off some of the platforming you can expect to do throughout the game and puzzle-solving to reach your target.
The game takes players through a variety of landscapes, and players can choose to travel through the game’s various areas on a motorcycle or on foot. This three-minute trailer also showcases the main villain that you’ll face alongside Viktor and Isla, the person responsible for causing the mana disaster.
