“Game of Thrones” fans have a lot to look forward to in the next few years. We’re currently waiting for the hotly anticipated second season of “House of the Dragon,” which is slated to drop later this year. There’s also the long-promised Jon Snow sequel/spin-off series, along with the recent announcement of an Aegon’s Conquest spin-off about Argon Targaryen’s conquest of Westeros (which is being written by “The Batman Part II” scribe, Mattson Tomlin).

And, of course, on top of all that, there are the remaining original books, which are bound to get finished and released at some point, right? Right? In the meantime, we have “The Hedge Knight” to look forward to next year. Here’s the official logline.

A century before the events of “Game of Thrones,” two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros … a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.
