SOUTH HAVEN. After Knife attack by a migrant A third child has died during a children’s dance class in Southport, England. A nine-year-old girl died from her injuries on Tuesday morning, the British newspaper reported Daily mailA six- and seven-year-old girl had previously died as a result of the attack.
The 17-year-old suspect attacked a dance school with a knife on Monday while an event was taking place there aimed at children. Seven other people were seriously injured, including five children and a dance teacher. The condition of the injured is currently said to be critical.
British police said they had not yet established a motive for the bloody attack, but ruled out a “terrorist background.” The teenager is currently in police custody, a spokesman for Merseyside Police said. The suspect was born in the British city of Cardiff. His parents emigrated to Britain from Rwanda.
Video recordings are intended to show the suspect before the crime
Witnesses reported that the attacker drove to the dance school in a taxi and got out without paying. He then entered the building through the main entrance, which was not locked for fire safety reasons. He is said to have been wearing a hoodie and a medical mask during the crime.
British television channel ITV published footage showing the alleged perpetrator outside his home a few hours before the crime. It shows a person in a green hoodie with a white mask on his face. Other footage shows police officers searching the house later.

The dance event that was attacked was aimed at fans of American pop singer Taylor Swift. In a message on the internet platform Instagram, the musician expressed her dismay at the crime: “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport still overwhelms me and I am in shock. These were just little kids taking dance lessons.”
