After a long hiatus of 9 years, Adnan Sami is making a big comeback to playback singing. He will reportedly lend his voice to the soundtracks of not one, but two films: Kasoor and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala VideoAdnan’s last song was Bhar Do Jholi Meri of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Recently, Adnan revealed that he took some time off to “recover, rejuvenate and be receptive” before making his return. “It wasn’t a calculated move, but something that just kind of happened. I mostly needed a little bit of time to myself to recover, rejuvenate and be receptive while listening to some new things that came my way. You don’t really realize it’s been such a long break because time flies at a ferocious pace. It feels like yesterday that Bajrangi Bhaijaan It happened and I sang Bhar Do Jholi. When you look back, it feels like it’s been a long time. I’m excited about the new music,” he said. Hindustan Times newspaper.
Adnan Sami added that he is happy to be back in the recording phase. He said: “I am currently travelling a lot with shows around the world. But I am happy to be back in the recording phase and I am doing a lot of new things and recording for films as well as independent music, which has been a very important part of my life.”
During the same conversation, Adnan Sami opened up about how his approach to music is “emotional.” The singer said, “I’ve been in the business for 35 years and my discography and my body of work has a tremendous variety… But you might not find as much variety as you would expect in 35 years. The reason is that my approach to music is emotional. I don’t see it as a business. It’s a passion for me.”
