Tottenham Hotspur have made a fresh bid for Genoa defender Radu Drăgușin, according to reports. Napoli had previously reached a draft agreement with Genoa for the player, but they have yet to make an official offer that matches the terms of the agreement. Despite offering Alessandro Zanoli permanently, Leo Ostigard on loan, and cash as part of the deal, Napoli has not been able to seal the transfer. Meanwhile, Tottenham has offered a contract to Drăgușin, and his agent has been waiting for an approach from the English club.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham’s new offer to Genoa is better than their previous one. They are now willing to pay €26.6 million for the defender, which poses a threat to Napoli’s offer. There is a possibility that Napoli’s move could collapse as they may not be able to match Tottenham’s financial power, even if they include players in the deal. Genoa is currently considering the offer, as accepting Napoli’s offer would provide them with a direct replacement for Drăgușin. However, Napoli has already started exploring other potential targets.
