New Delhi:
Winter Triptych has denied allegations of skipping an event in Jaipur, following the actions of organizers who damaged its posters at the venue. Organizers of the Nari Shakti event by FICCI FLO Jaipur branch claimed that the actress charged Rs 5.5 lakh but failed to attend the event. Responding to these claims, Triptii’s spokesperson issued a statement stating that the actress is “fully honoring” her professional commitments during the promotions of her upcoming film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Videoin which she starred alongside Rajkummar Rao.
Its spokesperson clarified that attending FICCI events is not part of its promotional obligations and mentioned that Triptii does not charge any fees for it, contrary to the organizers’ claims. The statement read, “During the ongoing promotional campaign for his film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully respected his professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, he did not participate or commit to participating in the film any personal appearances or events outside of his promotional duties. It is important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were received for his involvement in these activities.”
Video from the venue shows organizers stating their intention to file a police complaint against Triptii. In one of the clips, a woman from the organizing team can be heard saying, “No one should watch his film; the whole of Jaipur should boycott it because they committed and then didn’t show up. He doesn’t deserve to be called a celebrity at all.” as he begins to deface the poster, while the audience cheers.
