Netflix has dropped the first nine minutes of the upcoming Christmas episodes of the second part of Virgin River Season 5. The two Christmas episodes will arrive on the streamer on November 30.

With Season 5 Part 1 having graced the platform back in September, the first nine minutes of the romantic drama’s Christmas episodes — uploaded via Tudum — kick off with Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) as they embark on a journey to find a perfect Christmas tree for the annual Christmas tree decorating contest. As the picturesque Californian town prepares for the upcoming contest, Mel is still trying to figure out whether her birth father is from the Virgin River.

Netflix has recently renewed the show for Season 6, which is set to begin filming soon. All five seasons are available to stream on Netflix, with the second part of Virgin River Season 5 dropping on Thursday, November 30.

Virgin River Season 5 cast members include Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine Roberts, Annette O’Toole as Hope McCrea, Tim Matheson as Vernon ‘Doc’ Mullins, Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dan Brady, Colin Lawrence as John ‘Preacher’ Middleton, Grayson Gurnsey as Ricky, Sarah Dugdale as Lizzie, Gwynyth Walsh as Jo Ellen, Nicola Cavendish as Connie, and Keith MacKechnie as Nick.

What is Virgin River about?

Virgin River follows nurse practitioner and midwife Mel, who relocates from Los Angeles to a remote town in California to start anew and leave some rather painful memories behind. However, the location she had imagined would be ideal for a fresh start isn’t quite what she had anticipated.

The synopsis for Virgin River Season 5 reads as follows: “Season Five of Virgin River features surprising new relationships, a shocking break-up, a difficult court trial, a heartbreaking goodbye, and a wildfire that threatens the town, bringing some people of Virgin River together while tearing others apart.”
