vivo’s X200 family has recently started leaking, and we have I’ve heard a lot about ‘vanilla’ X200. Today, the X200 Pro takes center stage, with a new leak from China detailing its camera system.

According to the prolific leaker who goes by the name Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the X200 Pro will have a 50MP f/1.57 main camera with a 1/1.28″ Sony sensor manufactured on a 22nm process (up from 40nm before, a pretty significant change).

The phone will also have a 200MP f/2.67 periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.4″ sensor size, and from these specs we can assume that this is the exact same unit that made its debut on the X100 Ultra. The vivo X200 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, but vivo will use its own imaging chip for all the processing, if our machine translation of DCS’s words is correct.

THE vivo X100 Pro The X200 series is expected to launch in November 2023, and its successor will likely arrive around the same time in China, perhaps a few weeks earlier. That’s all the details we know about it so far, but just like previous X-series models, it looks like the X200 family will definitely continue to be very camera-focused, pun very much intended.
