alive released the Y18 in India in May, and today, it has introduced the ‘i’ model in the country. The vivo Y18i is powered by the Unisoc T612 SoC and runs Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The vivo Y18i is built around a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 528 nits HBM brightness. It also has a notch for the 5MP selfie camera. At the back, you get a dual-camera setup – a 13MP primary camera and a 0.08MP auxiliary unit.
Fueling the vivo Y18i is a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. It also has an IP54 rating and features stereo speakers. If all this sounds familiar to you, that’s because the Y18i is a rebranded smartphone Y03t revealed yesterday, except the Y03t comes with Bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.0 and an additional 128GB storage option.
The vivo Y18i is offered in Space Black and Gem Green color options and is priced at INR7,999 ($95/€85). It will be sold via vivo’s Indian website but is also expected to be available at offline retailers.
