The Paris 2024 Olympics are in their eighth day and it has been an exciting one so far, with another packed schedule in store for today.
Having officially started in a spectacular opening ceremony along the Seine River on Friday 26 July, there’s plenty more action to come, with the Games running until Sunday 11 August.
There are 30 gold medals up for grabs on Saturday, with the women’s 100m final the highlight of the day.
Team GB have several medal hopes, with boats in the Women’s Eight and Men’s Eight finals when the rowing comes to a close, due to start at 9.50am and 10.10am respectively.
At 10am the Men’s Road Race gets underway and Team GB have Mountain Bike gold medallist Tom Piddock alongside them.
Equestrian has been a success for Team GB so far, and they could pick up another medal at 9am in the Dressage Team Grand Prix.
In artistic gymnastics, there are some medal hopes, with Jake Jarman competing in the men’s floor exercise final at 2:30 p.m. and reigning Olympic champion Max Whitlock in the pommel horse final at 4:16 p.m.
Finally, in the women’s 100m final at 8.20pm, Team GB will be hoping to have Dina Asher-Smith competing for a medal.

Paris Olympics: How to watch on TV
BBC One and BBC Two are broadcasting more than 250 hours of live coverage across the 16-day event.
The programme can be watched for free on TV and can also be streamed live on the BBC website or via BBC iPlayer via tablet or mobile devices.
However, the BBC can only show two events happening at the same time, live, at any one time.
That’s because Discovery+ has won the rights to be the UK’s main broadcaster, with 3,800 hours of live Olympics coverage on Eurosport, with fans able to subscribe here.
Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will broadcast the action across all competition days, with live coverage from 7am to 10.30pm daily.
Both Eurosport 1 and 2 will be available on Discovery+, along with seven selected Eurosport pop-up channels per event.
In the US, you can watch the Paris Olympics on NBC and USA Network, with live streaming available on Peacock and the NBC Sports app.
