“Arcane”, characters: which “LoL” champions are there?

Nine champions from “League of Legends” will appear in the first season of “Arcane”:

  • We: Leader of a group of young criminals from the underground city of Zaun. Vi is brave, impulsive and loyal to her friends. She has a strong sense of justice and fights for the oppressed in Zaun.
  • Curse: Vise Jinx is Vi’s psychopathic and chaotic sister. She is highly intelligent, but also unpredictable and violent. Jinx enjoys causing chaos and often leaves a trail of destruction in her wake.
  • Jayce: A brilliant inventor and protector of the city of Piltover, Jayce is ambitious, optimistic, and has a strong sense of justice. He strives to improve the world with his inventions, but often comes into conflict with his own moral ideas.
  • Victor: A sick scientist from Piltover, obsessed with the desire for perfection. Viktor is intelligent, ambitious and driven, but also vulnerable and plagued by self-doubt. His experiments with the Hextech Crystal have both positive and negative consequences.
  • Caitlyn: The honest and dutiful peacekeeper of Piltover. Intelligent, determined, and with a strong sense of justice, Caitlyn works to uphold the law and fight crime in Piltover, often clashing with Jinx.
  • Heimerdinger: An eccentric and brilliant scientist from Piltover who is a mentor to Jayce and Viktor. Wise, experienced, and with a deep understanding of the world, Heimerdinger cares about his students and tries to guide them on the right path.
  • Ekko: A young inventor from Zaun who can manipulate the past with his stopwatch. Ekko is intelligent, resourceful, and loyal to his friends. He uses his abilities to protect the people of Zaun and fight against the oppression of Piltover.
  • Sung: An unscrupulous chemist from Zaun who conducts dangerous experiments. Intelligent, ruthless, and driven by an unbridled thirst for knowledge, Singed will spare no means to achieve his goals, often endangering the lives of others.
  • Ryze: A mysterious wanderer searching for the world runes. Ryze is wise, mysterious, and driven by a higher purpose. He seems to have a lot of knowledge about the world and its history, but often remains silent.

“Arcane”, Story: That’s what the series is about

The story takes place in the world of Runeterra, where the cities of Piltover and Zaun have an unequal relationship with each other. Piltover is a progressive and prosperous city, while Zaun is a dark and oppressed underground area.

Vi and Jinx are sisters raised in Zaun. As children, they are drawn into a conflict that will change the future of both cities. Vi is taken in by Vander, the rebel leader in Zaun, while Jinx falls into the hands of Silco, a ruthless chemist and criminal.

Is Arcane an anime?

“Arcane” cannot be clearly defined as an anime, although it does have some similarities with anime. Although ‘Arcane’ was produced by a French animation studio (Fortiche Production) on behalf of the American developer Riot Games, it was not made in Japan. Anime, on the other hand, is by definition produced in Japan.

The visual style of “Arcane” is heavily influenced by Western comic book style and cyberpunk elements, with detailed backgrounds and dynamic action scenes.
