Norway’The Royal Family shared a beautiful family photo from Princess Märtha Louise’s wedding to Durek Verrett on Saturday, but not everyone was in the photo.

The couple posed for the photo with their wedding party, close friends and immediate family. after tying the knot in a picturesque ceremony at a hotel in the small Norwegian town of Geiranger.

Smiling alongside the newlyweds were Märtha’s three daughters – Maud Angelica, 21, Leah Isadora, 19, and Emma Tallulah, 15 – along with their parents, King Harald and Queen Sonja.

Also pictured were close friends Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, Märtha Louise’s brother Prince Haakon, his wife Princess Mette-Marit, and their children Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 20, and Prince Sverre Magnus, 18.

Anne-Kari Bøhaugen, reportedly the maid of honor, also joined the group in the memorable snapshot.

However, the image also highlighted some notable absences from the event with 350 guests. Among those missing were Prince Haakon’s stepson Marius Borg Høiby and the groom’s estranged mother Veruschka Urquhart, as well as his sister Demi DeLaNuit.

Marius’ absence was particularly egregious given his recent controversies. Earlier this month, Marius issued a public apology after being accused of assaulting his girlfriend, Rebecca Helberg Arntsen, citing his mental health struggles as a contributing factor.

Sources suggest Marius was not invited to the wedding after several guests reportedly threatened to walk out if he attended.

Marius, who admitted assaulting his girlfriend while high on cocaine and alcohol, travelled to Tuscany despite facing preliminary charges of causing bodily harm and criminal damage, which could carry a year in prison.

His lawyer, Øyvind Bratli, ensured transparency when informing the police of your travel plans.

Also absent were the mother estranged from the groomVeruschka Urquhart and her sister, Demi DeLaNuit.

Last month, the couple reportedly issued a cease and desist letter to Verrett’s 81-year-old mother, threatening legal action over what they described as “slander” and “false statements.”

Durek addressed the subject in Instagramexplaining that legal change was “the only remaining option for change”. He accused his mother of demonstrating a “significant lack of care and love” towards him, Märtha and their families through her statements.

The letter, supposedly signed by “Shaman Durek and Princess Märtha Louise”, warned Veruschka to “refrain from defaming“, disparaging and making false and provocative statements about Shaman Durek.”

The document went on to state that failure to comply could result in legal action, including a lawsuit for millions of dollars in damages.
