A new update for Alan Wake 2 went live today, introducing new accessibility options, PS5 Pro support, improved Xbox Series S, and more.

The October 22 update is intended to celebrate the game’s first anniversary by introducing new features and improvements, even for those who haven’t purchased the Deluxe Edition, which includes the Lake House expansion, also released today today. Among the biggest changes introduced in the update are new accessibility options, which include infinite ammo and batteries, immortality, options to change buttons to presses, and much more.

The new Alan Wake 2 Anniversary Update also adds, as already mentioned, PS5 Pro supportoptional support for motion sensor controls with a DualSense controller on PC and PlayStation 5, refined and additional haptics and increased internal rendering resolution on Xbox Series X, from 1280×720 to 1505×847. At firstIt looked like the update also added VRR support on Xbox consoles, but the current patch the notes no longer mention it, so it’s unclear whether this was actually added or not.

Alan Wake 2 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. You can learn more about one of the best survival horror games released in recent years by checking out my goodbye.
