‘I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.’
Ashely went on to thank ‘every doctor and ICU nurse who worked tirelessly’ before concluding: ‘I hesitated to share what’s been happening as I’m still in the throes of recovery… but I now know I’m safely on the other side of the worst.

‘Thanks for reading this. I’ m sorry for being so absent recently to so much and to people in my life. I love you all. I’m healing and I promise I’m gonna be okay.’
Her post was quickly flooded with comments of support from her Emily In Paris co-stars, including Lily Collins.
She wrote: ‘I can hardly look at these without crying. I love you sister and I’m forever grateful you’re on the other side of this and for Paul for your incredibly huge heart and for being there every step of the way. I cannot wait to hug you both.’
Paul has also since shared a snap of the pair on his own account alongside a simple caption that read: ‘By your side, no matter what.’
Ashley had previously posted a slew of snaps from her sun-soaked vacation in Phuket, Thailand, before it took its terrifying turn.
She had posed playfully with a brass sculpture before embarking on a cooking class to create an authentic Pad Thai.
Ashley has previously spoken out about other health scares she has overcome, including overcoming cancer when she was a teenager.
She was just 15 when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, and she recovered after almost a year in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy.
After being told what she could and couldn’t do during her treatment she was inspired to change the way she approached health and wellness.
The Broadway star told Shape magazine: ‘Once cancer physically left my body, I made it my mission to not let it affect my life.
‘I didn’t want it to define me. People were so worried about me, and I became the person that was like, “I’m fine. Don’t worry about me. I am going to go after what I want and just do it.”‘
