The New York Jets are coming off yet another forgettable season, with the team simply unable to compete in the AFC after superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down with a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1 against the division-rival Buffalo Bills.

Fortunately for New York, there’s some light at the end of the tunnel, with Rodgers fully intent on returning for the 2024 campaign and the team putting some much-needed talent around their superstar quarterback.

However, even though things seem to be trending up for the Jets after a solid start to the NFL offseason, the team can’t control what their star players do in their free time, which can lead to some ill-advised decisions and things that can embarrass the franchise.

Young star wide receiver Garrett Wilson is about as straight-laced as it gets as a professional athlete, as he’s been able to stay out of trouble and focus on his playing career with the Jets.

Unfortunately, the young star recently made a move that won’t sit well with the team, fans, and the NFL, as he chose to sit on the ledge of a tall building and have his picture taken while flipping off the camera via MLFootball.

Here are some fan reactions to Wilson dangerously sitting on a ledge:

This kind of thing is nothing out of the ordinary for a 23-year-old kid who’s fooling around with some friends while deciding to live on the wild side with some reckless behavior, but he’s a multi-million-dollar athlete for an NFL team based in New York, which makes this incident about as bad as it gets.

It’ll be interesting to see if the NFL or the Jets decide to take action with concern for the wide receiver’s safety.
